Maak kennis met de joodse cultuur en de geschiedenis van de joodse gemeenschap in Groningen. In onze prachtige in 1906 gebouwde synagoge kun je terecht voor rondleidingen, exposities en activiteiten.

Hoe vier je de bevrijding wanneer je bijna alles bent verloren? Wanneer je niet weet of je familie leden nog leven? Maar ook, hoe verwerk je het trauma van vervolging en moord? Deze tentoonstelling verkent hoe we in de provincie Groningen in de afgelopen tachtig jaar de oorlog en in het bijzonder de Shoah herdenken. Dat doen we door het persoonlijke verhaal van verschillende Joodse Groningers te delen, maar ook door te tonen hoe we als samenleving, als collectief de Shoah vanaf 1945 proberen te verwerken.
